WHO are we?

• I’m David Lohmeier. I’m a registered Architect in Virgina.
• In 2004, I started DaLoh Designs, LLC.
• I have over 30 years experience.
• I’m passionate about design.

WHAT do we do?

• We are a full service Architectural Design and Consulting firm in Coastal Virginia.
• We design for both
  • Residential
  • Commercial
• We also perform other services for our clients, including:
  • Programming
  • Space Planning
  • Interior Design
  • Renovation / Additions
  • Master Planning
  • 3D Modeling

HOW do we do it?

• We utilize BIM software. We use ArchiCAD.
• We also use SketchUp for quick modeling.

WHY do we do it?

• We love solving a client’s problems.
• We believe that good design is the outcome of thorough problem solving.

Our philosophy is based on our ideals.

Creating a design that echoes and interprets the clients wants, analyzes all the constraints (both physical and perceptual) , and has vetted multiple solutions. 

Our process and approach is to listen first, analyze the constraints, define multiple solutions and  bring options and the answer to fruition.

We believe that good design should be above all else –

• CRAFTED (Bring the right mix of detail to bear)
• DESIGN-ed Well (Be deliberate and thorough, then execute)
